Today was a fabulous day! I got all of my homework done, went to class, did a walk with some peeps from the program at the Latin Quarter, and had dinner with my host family! The only negative about today was that it was FREEZING at a whopping 60 degrees (unbearable, right?) Since it’s late, I don’t have a lot of time to blog (i.e. type a lot), so I’ll show you what I did through pictures.
We went on a walk called "Playing Hooky in the Quartier Latin." We essentially just walked around one of my favorite parts of Paris (Latin Quarter) and took pictures. It was so fun! This is me at the Academie Francais.
After walking past the Academie, we found this empty niche and HAD to take pictures in it. They turned out cute, right?

Seeing as I live in the Highlands, I thought this was perfect for me!

The walking crew for today - Paul, Mckenna, Erin, and Amy
They were looking at the Seine and I was creeping with my camera. I like this picture though!
Towards the end of the walk, we saw this statue covered in paint that looked like blood. It's of Voltaire and we guessed that some student was upset that he/she had to learn about him and protested. The world may never know.
